Raising a teenager can be one of the most rewarding and daunting tasks in an adult’s life. Teens are often focused on developing their own personalities and identities, often through pushing against familial bonds, rules, and expectations. The staff members at Arizona Preparatory Academy have compiled a list of resources to help parents:
- Raising Special Kids
- Positive Parenting
- Setting Boundaries that Work
- Driving Resources
- College Planning
- Community Information and Referral Services
While this is a good start, we understand that parenting can involve many more resources. If you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to reach out to our Principal Mrs. Melinda Whittle-Lopez at (623) 907-2661. For housing concerns, our McKinney-Vento Liason, Janette Buell, has resources and can be reached at (623) 907-2661.
Parents can now login to ParentVue using their unique credentials to check on their student’s progress to graduation. This new feature is part of our massive IT upgrade underway. Additionally, new parents or guardians wishing to enroll their students in our accredited school can do so by utilizing our online registration and enrollment program.
These online programs are truly useful for parents and guardians who wish to monitor their student from enrollment to graduation, on their time, in their way, honoring our philosophy of education at any time and any place.
